Bramwell Station

Bramwell Station is in northern Cape York.

It is just south-east of Bramwell Junction, where the Telegraph Road ends, and the Old Telegraph Track and Bypass Roads start.

It is a working cattle station that welcomes visitors.

It is open for visitors during the Dry Season - you can just drop in and have a look, or stay over night.

They also have an event - Bramwell Cup and Bush Carnival, held over an early July weekend - with horse races, food stalls, licenced bar and nightly live music.

There are two turnoffs to the station - one is on Peninsula Developmental Road south of Bramwell Junction, and the other is on the southern Bypass Road.

Like Bramwell Junction, the station has some impressive termite mounds.

They are doing a great job at this festival, only being a family business, not a whole town as is obviously a lot more usual!
