Coloured Sands
Coloured Sands is
a beautiful place to visit.
It is north of Cooktown, and east of the Aboriginal community of Hope Vale, along the road to Cape Bedford.
The whole area is known for amazing sand dunes so you first pass some pretty country with white silica sand dunes, before you get to a T-junction near the beach where you can turn left to Coloured Sands or right to Elim Beach.

You can see them from distance as long as you get to the beach..
