Hope Vale

Hope Vale is an Aboriginal community just north of Cooktown.

There is nothing in particular in the community for visitors, but you will drive thought the community if you want to visit the beautiful Cape Bedford.

A permit is required to visit Cape Bedford, and you can buy it at the service station in town.

Also remember that alcohol restrictions are in place, there is a road sign with the exact limits (and penalties, which are heavy!).
