Port Douglas Carnivale
This ten day festival is held in mid to late May every year and is one of the most popular Port Douglas events. It consists of many different smaller events such as kids' fun, street entertainment, gourmet lunches, feast dinners, arts, markets and even the Daintree Station Bullride. Some of the more popular things are the fireworks and the Friday Night Macrossan street parade.

portoberfest

Portoberfest
Portoberfest is obviously the Oktoberfest of Port Douglas, held in early October, just like the one in Germany.

Beer jugs are also the same size, and the whole event is fun, at the 2 Fish Restaurant in the Port Douglas Marina, with scene entertainment and bars of almost every European country.
